Crossroads Comedy Theater is now a non profit organization! Sort of! We have non-profit entity status, but we are not yet a tax-exempt 501c3. While we await our glow up, we are fiscally sponsored through Fractured Atlas. This means you can donate and have your donation be fully tax deductible even though we aren’t bona fide yet!

Your tax deductible contributions will help us provide additional programming support including, but not limited to: production and directorial support, mentoring to emerging artists, rehearsal space to underserved artists and acts, offset venue rental costs for shows and classes, and hire/train temporary staff to support our artistic and educational efforts. Support will also be directed toward our announced Crossroads Scholarship, which aims to provide opportunities to expand the reach and accessibility of our comedy arts education programs.

Click the link below to view our donation page through Fractured Atlas. If you are not concerned with the tax deductibility of your donation and would rather see Crossroads get 100% of your donation – you can use donate to us directly via the link below. We also accept Venmo @XroadsComedy and PayPal at hello@xroadscomedy.com. If you want to drop off a bag of cash with a $ on it, please call.

Crossroads Comedy Theater is a performance and arts education center. Since our formation in 2021, we have trained over 500 students in longform improv, musical improv, stand-up, sketch comedy writing, writing for television and film,  storytelling, clowning, acting, and more. We have produced over 500 hours of original comedy performances online and on Philadelphia stages since April of 2021. We are one of a handful of comedy theaters in the country that compensates its performers and have paid out nearly $100,000 to local performers, teaching artists, staff, and venue operators. Crossroads has served as a comedy hub multiple years in the Philly Fringe Festival also appearing each year in Philly Theatre Week. Crossroads runs the Class Clowns Comedy Festival each year featuring educational comedy shows from across the country. We are looking forward to continuing to support the Philly comedy community and Philly at large through our low to no cost performances and educational opportunities, community partnerships to bring art and arts education opportunities to new audiences, and so much more.
