This is a short term, volunteer position.
ROLES TO BE ASSIGNED
Box Office, Concessions, Photographer, and Usher.
PERKS
$15 for every hour volunteered issued on a Crossroads Gift Card. Crossroads gift cards can be used to enroll in classes and to purchase tickets to performances that are produced by Crossroads Comedy Theater.
The ability to see shows for free depending on your volunteer assignment.
Snacks and drinks from concessions when available during shift.
That good feeling you get for helping out a growing theatre company.
LOCATION
Crossroads is a roaming theater and rents space from existing theaters. For that reason we bounce around. Right now we spend most of our time between Theatre Exile and Plays & Players Theatre.
Theatre Exile. 1340 S. 13th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19147. Close to the Ellsworth-Federal stop on the Broad Street line in South Philly. This location is accessible to wheelchair users. Free and paid parking is available where you can find it.
Plays & Players Theatre’s Skinner Studio. 1714 Delancey Place, Philadelphia, PA 19103. This location is in Center City and surrounded by various public transit options. Parking is where you can find it. This location is not accessible to wheelchair users. We perform on the 3rd floor of this historic walk-up building.
COVID CONSIDERATIONS (Updated: April 25, 2023)
KN95 Masking is strongly recommended, but not required to attend Crossroads performances, workshops or classes. Surgical masks will be available at the theater. These guidelines may change based on recommendations from the City of Philadelphia, the CDC, or other public health experts.
