Crossroads Comedy Theater’s core improv and musical improv programs are expanding to eight weeks! These include Improv and Musical Improv 1 through 4. Since our founding, Crossroads improv and musical improv programs have been six weeks. Under the guidance of Philly’s best instructors, our students have done amazing work in six weeks. Many have gone on to be cast in shows we’ve produced and cast in teams and productions at other area theaters. Many have also created teams of their own. We are incredibly proud of the work our students and instructors have done under our 6 week program and look forward to the growth possible with our new 8 week model.

This expansion comes after loads of feedback from both our students and our instructors over the last two years. We feel this move to eight weeks will have many advantages including more time for concepts to take root, extra time to put learned skills into practice, more individual attention from instructors, increased development of the students as a group, and more time for instructors to address the direct needs of the class.

These changes will go into effect with our Session 1 courses beginning in January 2024. Enrolling now are these two beginner courses, currently on sale for $30 off:

IMPROV 1 WITH NICK GILLETTE
Sundays
January 7th – February 25th
3:00pm – 5:00pm

IMPROV 1 WITH KELLY CONRAD
Thursdays
January 11th – February 29th
6:30pm – 8:30pm

With this expansion also comes a rate increase.  To assist with this added cost we will direct you to our student aid page which outlines options including financial aid, scholarships, payment plans, and more. We are biased of course, but we believe we are the best combination of quality and price in the Philadelphia area. We are committed to creating a way in for all income levels while continuing to improve and develop our courses and programs.

Thank you to all the students and instructors who have provided the feedback leading to this change. We feel great about it and know that new students and returning students will be that much stronger as a result.
