We have some great news! Crossroads has been nominated for not one, but two Philly Favorites awards from the Philadelphia Inquirer! We are nominated in the Things to Do category for Comedy Club and Date Night Activity. We didn’t even know we were in the running until our buddy from the Broad Street Review, Neil Bardhan, gave us a heads up.

It’s certainly an honor to be nominated, but winning either would be pretty great too. On the outside it could look like Crossroads is all over the place when it comes to Philly comedy with performances and comedic arts training due to great word of mouth we get from providing great experiences. The truth is we are tiny compared to other worthy organizations up for the same recognition. Winning in either of these categories could go a great way in helping spread the word about the fact we exist, that we put on great, live shows, produce hilarious podcasts, and have the best education center around (bias acknowledged).

If you want to start the year helping a small theatre company with community minded goals get a spotlight – here is your chance. It takes one minute and doesn’t cost you a dime.

HOW TO VOTE:

  • Go to the Philly Favorites website.
  • Click on “Things to Do,” find Comedy Club, and then click on Crossroads Comedy Theater.
  • In the pop-up message click “Vote in Another Things to Do Category”
  • Find “Date Night Activity” and then click Crossroads Comedy Theater.
  • Review and submit your ballot.
  • Repeat every day through Friday, January 19th!
