Crossroads Comedy Theater’s growing catalog of online comedy arts courses are not pre-recorded, one-size-fits-all videos. Our 6 week courses are taught by real, live humans who actually do the comedy art they are teaching. They will work with you to make sure you understand the material and improve throughout the course. 

We know not everyone can make it to one of our in-person classes in Philadelphia or Indianapolis, so let us come to you! Learn something new, expand your friend circle, and have a great time doing it.

ONLINE IMPROV BENEFITS

    All our classes run live via Zoom. This means your instructor is right there with you for questions, clarity, feedback, praise, etc all in the moment. You can also email with them in between classes.

    There is no experience necessary to take any of our beginner courses - you don't even need a desire to perform.

IMPROV 1: IMPROV FOR EVERYONE

This is where you start when you have no experience or would like to start Crossroads from the ground up. In this 8 week, in person class you will learn skills that go beyond the stage. If you are looking to become a better listener, improve public speaking skills, build self confidence, explore your creative side, meet new people, start your path to becoming a performing improviser, or simply have fun for two hours a week – we got your back!

This class is for everyone and will introduce you to the building blocks of improv in a fun, supportive, and welcoming environment with the best instructors in the Philly area. This course includes free admission to our live shows in Philly for the duration of the course as well as an optional performance to celebrate your improv journey. For ages 18 and up.
